Commentary on Esther 4:12 (Summary)

Esther 4:12 (ESV)

12 And they told Mordecai what Esther had said.

Mordecai was not content with Esther’s answer. Although he loved her dearly (see Esther 2:11), her own safety did not outweigh the survival of the Jewish people.
