How will the righteous shine like the sun?

41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers,

Secara singkat

Jesus’ words in Matthew 13:43 echo Daniel 12:3. The righteous are the wheat from Matthew 13:30, who will literally radiate (ek: out, lampō: to shine): an image of the glory that they will be clothed with (see 1 Corinthians 15:40; Matthew 17:2), as they reign as kings (Romans 5:17). Jesus promises the righteous the glory described in Daniel 12:3 and Proverbs 4:18.

Jesus’ words in Matthew 13:43 need to be understood in light of Daniel 12:3. The righteous are the wheat from Matthew 13:30, and they will shine—literally radiate (ek: out, lampō: to shine). It is an image of the divine glory that they will be clothed with (see 1 Corinthians 15:40 and Matthew 17:2).1 They will reign as kings (Romans 5:17). The evangelist here assigns to the righteous the same glory that Daniel 12:3 and Proverbs 4:18 do. The greatest possible glory is thereby contrasted with the greatest possible punishment.2

The final judgment is not an end in itself; the ultimate goal is the glorification of the elect. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.3
