Are you burdened by guilt? Do you feel like a failure? Maybe you have gone on in failure for a few years, and maybe you have sinned and maybe you have done things that have really hurt your life and you feel like you have failed. Do you feel that you lack hope? Look in faith to Jesus; look to the heavenly realms where a Saviour is enthroned with mercy for you. Paul puts it this way:
Therefore, we do not lose heart.Is that not a good word? Because your Saviour is enthroned with the grace of God who loves you, consecrate yourself to him, turn to him, lay your burdens upon him, ask for mercy and grace, anddo not lose heart. Though our outward nature is wasting away, yet our inner nature is being renewed day by day. We look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen, for the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16–18)
Oh, that we would know the riches that are ours, spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ.1
