What does 2 Peter 3:14-18 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of the Son)? Jesus Christ is both Lord and Saviour. He is the one who has lived the perfect life in my place and paid the penalty for my sin so that I do not have to fear judgment and destruction when the Lord returns in glory. I now have peace with God and I know that Christ is the full revelation of God since glory belongs to him both now and for ever (2 Peter 3:18).
