Fortunatos and Achaicus probably belonged to the household of Stephanas
(1 Corinthians 16:15) as slaves. In any event they were Stephanas’ fellow workers in the church and joined him in his visit to Paul in Ephesus. It is possible that the household of Stephanas
and Chloe’s people
(1 Corinthians 1:11) are one and the same. On the other hand, Chloe’s people may have been another group of Corinthians who came to Paul on an unofficial visit.
