What does 2 Peter 3:11-13 reveal about what God does in and through me (the work of the Holy Spirit)? Having worked powerfully in me to bring me to true faith in Christ, God the Holy Spirit now helps me to pursue godliness. He encourages me to look to Christ’s example and to serve God in all aspects of my life. He empowers me to fight against my sinful desires and to pursue the fruit of the Spirit, to make changes in my life where necessary, to grow in Christian character.
