The children of David’s different wives hated each other, yes, even killed each other in David’s family. It started with Amnon. Like his father, sexual desire incited sin. He raped his half-sister Tamar. Tamar was Absalom’s sister. Absalom saw that his father David did nothing and killed Amnon. He had to leave the palace but was allowed to return after some time.
