Joshua’s age at the time of his death was the same as that of Joseph (Genesis 50:22, Genesis 50:26) but ten years less than Moses (Deuteronomy 34:7). The number thus positively associates Joshua with Joseph whilst at the same time making him a little lower than Moses in stature.
29 After these things Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being 110 years old.
