Commentary on Proverbs 10:25 (Summary)

Proverbes 10:25 (NEG79)

25 Comme passe le tourbillon, ainsi disparaît le méchant;Mais le juste a des fondements éternels.

Since wickedness is inherently self-destructive, it provides no strength to enable one to withstand the tests of life, let alone the all-consuming fire of the final day (2 Peter 3:10–12). The world, that the wicked love, will pass away, while he who does the will of the Lord will live forever (1 John 2:17). The righteous can withstand the most difficult trials. They are made strong in the Lord and by the strength of His might (Ephesians 6:10–18).
