God’s speaking precedes the events. God announces and it happens. That is how strong his Word is. An example of this is the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem that was already announced in Micah 5:1. The suffering and death of Jesus was also prophesied in Isaiah 53:1–12. God’s Word fulfills itself.
