How should we understand the renewed wrathful language of God in Hosea 2:2-4?

Osée 2:4–6 (NEG79)

4 Plaidez, plaidez contre votre mère, car elle n'est point ma femme, et je ne suis point son mari! Qu'elle ôte de sa face ses prostitutions, et de son sein ses adultères!

At the moment, it is clear that nothing has changed among the people. God has made promises for the future. But at present his people are still adulterers, they are chasing other men (gods). Fortunately, there are still people (called children of mother Israel) who are very ashamed of the mother’s sin and distance themselves from it. In verse Hosea 2:2 there is a clear call to conversion: remove the brutal fornication from your life.
