Without obedience there is no real faith. And without faith there is no salvation. Therefore, Paul exhorts us to be obedient, to work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). And when you obey God you will experience that it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13) If we want to be saved, we must seek salvation.
