Jesus cannot be stopped. No matter what is done by the evil authorities who hate Jesus, they cannot stop him. Not even Muslim governments that want to eradicate Christianity—no one can stop Jesus from building his church today (Matthew 16:18). This should give us great confidence as Christian believers when we face persecution and suffering because of our faith. Despite what we might see and experience, Jesus’ work in this world cannot be stopped.
