What does Amos 4 reveal about what God does in me and through me (the work of the Holy Spirit)?
God the Holy Spirit uses circumstances (e.g., disasters and hardships) in order to help me let go of my sin and trust in God. He is seeking to conform me more and more into the image of Jesus Christ. He gives me the strength I need to respond to hardships with faith rather than in rebellion. He also helps me to worship the Lord because he is worthy and not in order to get things from him.
