The prologue (Judges 4:1–3) and epilogue (Judges 4:23–24) form a type of inclusio, where the items raised in the prologue are readdressed in the epilogue. The main part of the story is then organized into two parts, Judges 4:4–16 and Judges 4:17–22.1
