1. Psaume 17:15 (NEG79)

Is it “I shall be satisfied” or “let me be satisfied”?

Psalm (Psaume) 17:15 (ESV)

15 As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness.

David’s words could be interpreted as a request, Let me be satisfied, which would be a prayer for David’s future hope to be realized. Or he could be saying with simple certainty, I shall be satisfied. Either way, he knows satisfaction will come when he awakes with or in God's likeness.
