The psalmist’s word order makes it plain that he wants his vindication to come from the Lord alone: From your presence my vindication let it come forth,
and your eyes let them see what is right.
1 It is as if he is saying, I ask for no other judge but the divine one, the Lord, and I stand confidently before his judgment seat, since I have a just cause and truthful lips.
