Where was the house of Obed-edom?

2 Samuel 6:10 (NEG79)

10 Il ne voulut pas retirer l'arche de l'Eternel chez lui dans la cité de David, et il la fit conduire dans la maison d'Obed-Edom de Gath.

We do not know where the house of Obed-edom was. Presumably it was close to the threshing floor of Nacon. The motive for the decision to take the ark to his home is also not given.
