When Paul writes that in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us
(Romans 8:37), he is referring back to the redemptive manifestations of love of Christ mentioned in Romans 8:35. The things to which Paul refers to here is Jesus’ own death and resurrection (Romans 8:32) through which this love is manifested and which endures unto today and will endure forever.1
37 Mais dans toutes ces choses nous sommes plus que vainqueurs par celui qui nous a aimés.
