Unlike the ESV, which is based on the critical text, the King James Version follows the majority reading, which in Romans 8:1 is slightly longer: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
. This phrase, however, is found in all the translations in Romans 8:4b.1
