What does 1 Samuel 26 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of the Son)?
Jesus Christ is the King who was loyal to God and his people. He obeyed God’s law in all its requirements and submitted to the will of the Father. He helped and cared for those who opposed him, even giving his life as a ransom to pay for their (and my) sin.
