The Lord’s response to Zedekiah continues, And I will bring them together in the midst of this city.
It is not clear if them
refers to Judah’s troops who will be forced to withdraw into the city or to the Babylonian army that will break into the city. Either way, it is clear that the siege is not going to end well for Jerusalem or her people.
