Since the wicked servant is not ready at all times for the return of his master, he will be caught unaware. As a result, the return of his master will be a time of judgment. A place with the hypocrites brings to mind the judgment on false servants given by Jesus in Matthew 23:13–29.1 Weeping and gnashing of teeth highlights the never-ending hopelessness and pains of hell.2
