Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. His body did not see decay and this confirms that he is the Holy One who is referenced in Psalm 16:10. Since Jesus is resurrected, he will live forever and he must be the king whose kingdom will never end (see 2 Samuel 7:1–29). The permanent dominion of the Messiah is only possible if he never sees corruption.1
