If God wants Gentiles to be part of his church, Peter is not allowed to stand in the way and refuse to baptise them.1 All the people on whom God bestows his Spirit are part of God’s restoration of Israel and belong fully to the people of God.2 There can be no barrier to full fellowship3 ; circumcision and old covenant law keeping are not necessary for salvation.4
