In their arrogance the leaders of Judah felt no shame at all when they committed abomination
by leading the nation in rebellion against the Lord and his true prophets. As a consequence, they shall fall among the fallen
; they will be overthrown
when the Lord punishes them. They will be brought down from their elevated place of pride and fall under the Lord’s judgment just like the ordinary citizens of Judah that they have misled.
12 Ils seront confus, car ils commettent des abominations; Ils ne rougissent pas, ils ne connaissent pas la honte; C'est pourquoi ils tomberont avec ceux qui tombent, Ils seront renversés quand je les châtierai, Dit l'Eternel.
