What is different about the Lord’s reply this time?

Judges (Juges) 20:28 (ESV)

28 and Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron, ministered before it in those days), saying, “Shall we go out once more to battle against our brothers, the people of Benjamin, or shall we cease?” And the LORD said, “Go up, for tomorrow I will give them into your hand.”

The Lord responds, as before, but not tersely; this time he comes with a promise. Go up, for tomorrow I will give them into your hand. This is the word they had been hoping for, most likely. The Lord says that there will be just one more battle, and victory will be theirs.
