There is another Scripture that we can look at in 1 Timothy 3:1–16. 1 Timothy 3:1–16 lists hospitality among the requirements for those that serve as elders in the church. 1 Timothy 3:2:

But we see also that in 1 Timothy 3:8 Paul says,Deacons likewise must be dignified…He connects what the deacons do to what the elders do. He says,Elders do these things; deacons likewise.Hospitality is part of the work of the offices of the church.1
