The wicked in Judah Know no bounds in deeds of evil.
The phrase literally reads, “Deeds of wickedness pass over (some limit).1 Their wickedness has no boundaries; it certainly does not recognize the boundaries of their covenant with the Lord. In particular, this wickedness plays out in the law courts where Israel’s judges should have upheld the cause of the most vulnerable in the nation, the fatherless,
and the needy.
But they failed to do so, and they allow the wicked to exploit the vulnerable.
