Matthieu 7:13 (NEG79)

13 Entrez par la porte étroite. Car large est la porte, spacieux le chemin qui mènent à la perdition, et il y en a beaucoup qui entrent par là.

The narrow gate refers to a life lived in submission to Jesus Christ and what he has taught. Jesus presents himself also as the gate that leads to life in the Gospel of John (John 10:7, John 10:9–10; John 14:6). Of interest is the fact that the gate comes first and then one follows along the narrow way. A choice is to be made which must then be lived.1
