Progress of Christ's coming

Christ’s coming culminates in his glorious appearing on the Last Day. But as our arriving at a given address is the culmination of planning and packing and travelling, so it is too with Christ’s coming. We have been shown what must soon take place so that we can follow Christ (so to speak) packing his suitcase and beginning his travels. The details announced in the book of Revelation (be it plagues or spread of the gospel) are motivators for Christians to see progress in Christ's filling his suitcase. He is coming!
