Power was given to him over all nations

And finally, the worldwide nature of this anti-Christian kingdom is proved from the explicit teaching of Revelation 13:1–18 itself. Revelation 13:7 says that power was given him (that is, this seven-headed beast; power was given to the anti-Christian kingdom) over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. There are no dissenting nations. There are no pockets of revolution at some point in this kingdom. It is a one world government and nation! Revelation 13:3 says that all the world wondered after the beast. It then goes on in Revelation 13:4 to say that all the world will worship this beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? The whole world together is crying that. All the peoples of the earth have been joined together under this one kingdom – a worldwide kingdom made up of every race, every language, every culture.¹
