1. Matthieu 6:30 (NEG79)
  2. Explication du texte

What does it mean for disciples to have little faith?

Matthieu 6:30 (NEG79)

30 Si Dieu revêt ainsi l'herbe des champs, qui existe aujourd'hui et qui demain sera jetée au four, ne vous vêtira-t-il pas à plus forte raison, gens de peu de foi?

Little faith is a term which Jesus will use again (Matthew 8:26; Matthew 14:31; Matthew 16:8; Matthew 17:20). It does not refer to the absence of faith but a weak faith that is still learning to trust God.1 A weak faith shows itself in an undue anxiety that does not take note of the Father’s loving care (Matthew 10:19; Luke 10:41; Luke 12:11, Luke 12:22, Luke 12:26; Philippians 4:6).2
