The closing verses of Leviticus 26:1–46 reveal God’s willingness to forgive his people. Even though the nation turns its back against the covenant by worshipping other gods, disregarding the Sabbath, and mistreating the land, all is not hopeless. The Lord will forgive all who turn to him in humble repentance. This is a wonderful message for humanity. No matter how sinful one may be, there is hope and restoration in God. This mercy is found in the person of Jesus Christ, whose blood cleanses his people from all unrighteousness.
46 Tels sont les statuts, les ordonnances et les lois, que l'Eternel établit entre lui et les enfants d'Israël, sur le mont Sinaï, par Moïse.
