In the following chapter, Leviticus 26:1–46, the Lord will deal with the subject of blessings and curses. The grounds for blessing will be obedience to the instructions of God, while curses will be poured out for disobedience. Interestingly, Leviticus 26:1–46 begins without an introduction or introductory formula. This suggests that the chapter has a strong connection with the content of Leviticus 25:1–55.
