Leviticus 22:11 considers the position of a slave who has been purchased by the priest. In this context, the slave would be considered to be part of the family of that household. As such, the slave would receive the same privileges as those who are natural children (Genesis 17:12–13).
11 Mais un esclave acheté par le sacrificateur à prix d'argent pourra en manger, de même que celui qui est né dans sa maison; ils mangeront de sa nourriture.
