The remains of the sin offerings were not to remain in the camp, they were to be disposed of outside the camp. The discarding of the remains was dealt with in Leviticus 4:12, Leviticus 4:21. On this occasion, however, one difference appears: here it is not the duty of the priest to dispose of the remains, but of some other person.
