Psalm 18
In Psalm 18, David testifies to the fact that God’s Word is perfect, and that God is the one who makes him strong to fight against his enemies. As Christians, we have many enemies in this world, including the flesh with its selfish desires. The Spirit makes us strong for this fight as we meditate on God’s Word. Psalm 18:30–36 (RCNZ stanzas 9-11) are particularly appropriate for conveying this idea, and it can be sung after your sermon.
