Even if I would climb up to the heavens, or when I would go down to Sheol’s realm – though I cannot do either - even then I can’t escape from God’s presence. Nothing and no one is unreachable for the mighty God. Sheol and Abaddon lie open before the LORD,
we read in Proverbs 15:11 (compare with Job 26:6). Again, God’s omnipresence and omnipotence are highlighted here. He can also reach Sheol,
the realm of the dead.
