In the face of injustices they see and experience on earth, God’s people ask the same question that the souls under the altar ask: How long, O Lord?
We on earth learn that brothers and sisters in heaven live along with us and ask the same question. The answer the Lord gives them instructs us also to be patient while the first horse completes his task and all God’s chosen are brought to faith (see John 17:24).
