Why does the young man declare his bride to be without flaw?

Cantique des Cantiques 4:7 (NEG79)

7 Tu es toute belle, mon amie, Et il n'y a point en toi de défaut.

This poem, expressing the young man’s deep appreciation of his bride, ends as it started (Song of Solomon 4:1) with a declaration of her beauty. In his eyes, she is flawless.

The man’s joy in his bride on their wedding day is comparable to the Lord’s delight in his original creation when he declared all that he made to be very good (Genesis 1:31).1
