The aim of the Judaizers was to remove the Galatians from the influence of Paul so that the Galatians would submit instead to the Judaizers' instruction and support their agenda.1 In doing so they will alienate the Galatians from God’s church. It is important for us to recognize, when Paul is writing against the Judaizers, that he is not zealous for his own reputation. He would have been glad if others came to Galatia to preach the gospel and strengthen God’s church.2
