Previously, Paul called the Galatians foolish (Galatians 3:1, Galatians 3:3). Now he goes back to referring to them as brothers
(Galatians 1:11) and he will use this term again in his letter (Galatians 4:12, Galatians 4:28, Galatians 4:31, Galatians 5:11, Galatians 5:13, Galatians 6:1, Galatians 6:18).1 Despite their sins and failures, he still considers the Galatians to be Christians and he wants to do what he can to stop them from being deceived by the Judaizers.
