The explanation of Hiram’s work begins with the casting of two bronze pillars. Each of the two was approximately 9 metres high and 5 metres in circumference. Both were hollow, with the thickness of the bronze being 7.5 centimetres. On top of the pillars were the capitals, and the capitals were each approximately 2.3 metres high.
