Wisdom and foolishness are like light and darkness. Wisdom also gives a person a great advantage in the world. An example of this can be found in 1 Samuel 25:1–44. Abigail is a wise woman while her husband Nabal is a fool. With her wisdom, Abigail saves her husband’s life and that of many others as well. Human wisdom and reason are not worthless.
