1 Kings 3:27 gives us Solomon’s decision. His plan had succeeded, and he had found the truth and the identity of the child’s mother. He delivered the child into her custody.
Before we leave the courtroom scene, it is well that we acknowledge that Solomon was here displaying that he, along with David his father, was a type of Jesus Christ. In this setting Solomon was the Lord's anointed
displaying the love of righteousness and the hatred of lawlessness.
