By pointing to the work of creation, Psalm 146:6a describes how great and mighty the Lord God is. When you trust in him, then you trust the One who holds everything in his hands, and the One who knows all of his creation. What a contradiction with Psalm 146:4, where the mortality of man is pictured. The last part of this verse can be seen as a connection between the preceding part and the following part: this great God is eternally faithful, and what a blessing is this for those who have struggles in their life (Psalm 146:7–9).
