Leviticus 14:1 is another rare instance where the Lord addresses Moses alone without any further command to deliver this message to the Israelites (see also Leviticus 5:14; Leviticus 6:1). It is assumed that the prescriptions in Leviticus 13:1 – 14:57 were to be communicated to the Israelites; Leviticus 13:1 and Leviticus 14:1 show that the initial addressees were Moses and Aaron, and Moses alone respectively.
