Why would a prophecy about Jerusalem be found along with prophecies about Egypt, Babylon, Dumah, and Arabia?

At first glance, it may seem wrong to find Jerusalem as part of a series of prophecies which include nations like Egypt, Babylon, and Arabia. However, since the people of God placed their trust in Babylon instead of God, they deserved their position between the surrounding nations.
