What does 1 Samuel 14:47–52 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (the work of the Son)?
Jesus Christ is the one man who was ever truly a success in the sight of God. He walked by faith in all aspects of his life. Perfectly obedient to God’s law, he was even willing to suffer death for the sake of God’s people. As a result of his life and death, I can look forward to life in God’s presence—life that I do not deserve.
